Genre in TV programming has significantly changed since the time TV was invented. This is an obvious fact. However, the concept of bringing televisions shows to reality through the introduction of reality-based programs has broken the traditional notion of predictable TV, and the offering of unscripted and real-time TV shows brings the level of watching to a higher level.

Reality shows are watched by millions of viewers because of the excitement and a plethora of surprises that awaits them since behavior of characters are mostly unexpected and the twist and turns of events are not so predictable unlike in the regular television series that we used to watch. But, since viewers are given this medium, their perspectives of an outcome for the show becomes predictable, and eventually they have already thought of the possible endings for a show even if those programs are not even finished yet. This remains a challenge to those who conceptualize TV shows on how to strategize and formulate reality-based programs that will offer a new flavor and excitement for their target market. Also, it should significantly consider culture-sensitive contents in order not to offend one’s religion and social standards, or even face legal sanctions on the part of the censors.

Whatever the next developments will be, reality shows will continue to thrive as people want surprises and since most people believe in the cliché that one’s life is unique, so as every show that characters in reality programs portray.

We experience boredom nowadays. Maybe because of so much work that we have done; or too much pressure from the things that surrounds us, or simply we are just bored. Thus, we search for ways where we can counter it and make our life more enjoyable and worth experiencing. But why hang out and spend a too much to treat yourself, if you can have them at the comfort of your home in front of your PC.

There is a huge number of funny stuff circulating in the Internet. A search in mighty Google or or Yahoo or Bing will land you to websites designed to provide fun and humor to your surfing experience. The advent of the Internet gave us a variety of Internet resources where we can enjoy and relax through just surfing the cyberspace. And the funny stuffs are limitless, they seem to be increasing all the time, and when you start enjoying them, you’ll also realize that you’re running out of time in order to see all of them.

First are funny songs. These types of songs are oftentimes melodies that bring laughter through the lyrics or its interpretation, or the tune is so upbeat that we feel like dancing whenever it is played. Even songs written by foreigners, those with foreign lyrics seemed to be more understood and supported because of the wide circulation the World Wide Web offers to songwriters.

How about TV ads? These things used to be kept off by TV viewers. But not all commercials are bad. There are ads, even though we don’t like the product or service being advertised, we still wanted them since they have captured our attention. Most of these funny commercials are very popular in the Web and the commercials alone are enough to market that particular service or product. Some of them are even banned to be shown in TV, but we’re lucky there is the Web, and censors cannot do much to prevent us from seeing them.

This age is also the period where reality shows took place, and reality shows combine wit and humor to bring about real-life shows, not those made by actors and actresses. Funny pranks are popular and every one, regardless of age, race, and gender, are becoming entertainers in their own merit when they appear in their own shows doing funny pranks to other people.

See, there are a vast resource of funny stuff and entertaining media in the Web. No need to spend much. Google and a mouse click will do, and that’s when fun begins.

10 Article Writing Keys for Newbies

This piece on the 10 (no, 11… yes, 11) tips for aspiring authors is not composed from the catbird seat point of view of the article publisher or database manager. It is rather by and from the perspective of an author who thinks the early misgivings. It is composed especially for the starting article writer. I have written and presented hundreds of compositions for publication to a horde of article directories and database managers and still finds article writing my nemesis.

1. Needs vs Wants:
Compositions and Web blogs are necessary in today’s scheme of search engine indexing. Not what the newbie wants to hear. Just remember what the Holy Book states, “there has nothing over taken you that is not common to man”. This is absolutely right! All of us hate article and blog writing at times, and some of us dread the journey to pen and paper (or keyboard as the case may be) all the time. Many Internet marketer would call them “a unavoidable evil” as they are not broadly speaking anyone’s best liked house keeping chores.

2. Just Start, It Gets Easier:
First it is sometimes hard to get an idea or theme and to get started. We know authors who literally get sick thinking about the process. Lighten up. There are a lot to write about, name it: alternative medicine, cancer diseases, true religion, life insurance, playing online poker, cheap insurance. Others may think of even more unusual topics such as penis enlargement and cheap viagra. Once an writer has a starting point and gets passed the introductory thoughts, blogging and article usually goes pretty smoothly.

The essential thing is that you get started. Select a topic you are familiar with and know something about and just start. You will be enjoyably amazed at just how easily ideas flow. Don’t think everybody knows what you know. They don’t. Will Rogers once said, “all men are ignorant, just on different subjects”. And this is a fact!

3. Good vs Perfection:
Your old English composition professor is not looking over your shoulder. Your composition need not to be perfect. It doesn’t mean it should not get a point or to say that it does not have to be correct. It does or at least it should be. But, perfection is not the goal and is, in fact, seldom possible. Too much detail and you run the danger of losing your reader on several levels. Too long and
most readers simply don’t have the time or interest to read the material regardless of how good it is.

4. Length of Blog vs Article Length:
Most article publishers want a minimum of 600 words per article - some will let you slide with 400 words. Blogs can have a shorter content. Blogs can and maybe should support appropriate photos and embedded links.

Don’t over do it though. Too gaudy or too slow to load and you have wasted your time, ticked off a potential reader, and probably upset a host who can ban you from their publications. compositions, but then, typically cannot carry these extra touches according to the essentials of most publishers.

5. Format:
Prepare your article in American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) format. There are a lot of software that does this thing. A search for ‘free ASCII editor’ or for ‘free plain text editors’ will provide one with a multitude of free options. WordPress is a standard option. If all else fails Notepad is enough for you to use.

6. Spelling and Grammar:
Run and good spell checker and grammar checker once you have written your article. Microsoft Word works well for these purposes. Just don’t use the MS Word copy for publishing of your article. Rather use its corrections to make any essential rectifications to your plain text copy. The MS Word copy will work for blogs although other editors are desired.

Like the good old days when you were encouraged by professsor, you will findarticle writing and blog writing skills become better with time and practice.

7. Publish and Announce:
Once your article is ready you may want to use some automatic tools to publish and announce it. First do a search for Blog directories and select those suited to your needs. Join one or more and publish your blog there. Then search for blog and RSS announcers and utilize them to get your blog known.

Now that you have that out of the way find an article wizard that will post your articles to free article publishers. You can post them one at a time by hand if you are really bored and have absolutely nothing else in life to do. Using an automatic poster you can publish to hundreds of directories in an hour or so. The only way to go.

8. Patience:
Now, have some forbearance. Here is where you lose control. Many of the men and women who host compositions are timely and your compositions will be reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. Others may take days and weeks therefore never date an article - a sure way to get rejected.

9. Rejection - “sorry your article has been declined”:
Be prepared for most hosts to reject your compositions. Do not be personal about this. It usually has something to do with your submission and with you as the author.

Some sites routinely reject articles for spelling errors when there are none or where there is more than way to spell a word. And, just as in any other endeavor some hosts are simply too slow-moving and get so far behind, the easiest and quickest thing to do (and perhaps the only alternative) is to reject the whole article. You will know who do this over time.

Then there are those who run your articles through the sausage grinder and if they find certain words, irrespective of how they are used, your article gets no farther. These are those who can’t publish the Bile because of the words it contains that may offend readers. These are people who are narrow-minded and doesn’t deserve a place in article writing.

Remember the rule: In every rule, there is an exemption.

10. Always believe, and keep cranking out compositions:
Since most authors, especially starters, prepare only one copy of an article against the advice of most seasoned authors it is important that the newbie keep his chin up - keep the faith. That will be easier as more and more of your articles are accepted and published taking visitors to your website while making those all significant back links.

It is not unavoidable that every publisher to accept everything submitted to them. After one or two directories publish your article on any given subject, the search engines tend to penalize additional postings of the same article. This is close to spamming and while it could help someone find you, it probably won’t. It is not necessarily, the more the merrier. The additional listings will not step-up your page rankings or links reported by the search engines. It is more essential to get published by hosts with the highest Google PageRank possible.

Now, one Incentive TIP for you: Along with “the rejection slip” will usually come a suggestion on how to “edit” your article and a asking that you submit it again. Don’t blow your time. While trying comply with one database manager’s request you could have composed a new one from which you get much more punch. There will be enough article publishers will choose your article up so move on and save yourself some time and heartburn.

2. Quitting your job will make you feel wonderful. You’ll be in cloud nine in 10 minutes, you’ll on the top of the world, you’ll have a good life, you’ll be: -insert your own cliche here-.
